Last Days of Freedom...

before i continue... the latest funny email i got has been posted up on my xanga

SHOUT OUT: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! love you heapsssssssssssssssssssssssss!!

my last two days of freedom has gone by like a breeze. uni is officially starting tomorrow for me and, thank God for credit cards, i paid my fees upfront again on the due date. =)

what happened yesterday? i went out during the morning to window shop alone in the city. honestly, the MYER massive sale is a load of crap because nothing good is on sale. im starting to prefer DJ more these days.

after a while of aimless wondering around DJ and MYER, i met up with a friend whom i havent seen since... first year of uni... and he looks the same from like, when i was in year... 8-ish? it was really nice of him to invite me out for lunch just to meet up and catch up and stuff. thinking back, a lot has happened since year 12 yet i can say nothing much happened? im not trying to be all philosophical here, no.

the lunch slash catching up themselves were ok: we went to a cafe at QVB and then went to pizza hut for the buffet works. it was the occasional dead conversations, or the awkward silences that got me thinking during the day. i know my friend and i didnt fully talk like the closest of friends, but the atmosphere wasnt like yesterday at all. he's still nice, i must say, he drove me to pick up my dry cleaning and drove me home as well. he even got me the Sims2, which came with the pizza buffet and a small amount of money.

i enjoyed yesterday because i got to see an old friend of mine yet it's a pity how i realised that people can take such different paths in life. he's a good person at heart, it's the occasional sarcastic jokes that i dont really understand... oh well, i'll just take them as sarcasm.

SHOUT OUT: HEY DANIEL! hope you enjoyed yesterday =)

and now, today...

i was thinking of going to the 1PM econ360 class but then i decided not to go this morning when i woke up... hehehehehehe

i had to call this place up to claim the dvd player we won from some competition. and then what happened? i went to the city (again) to meet up with a friend whom i havent seen since... april? some time back then... not as long ago as daniel... =)

ross and i went to get morning tea (more like breakfast slash morning tea for me) at QVB (again). it seems i've spent my last 2 days of freedom in the same area... haha. then we walked around the block (literally) to waste some time until he had to go to uni for some group presentation practice.

ross is... different... to all the other people i know. in a good way. =) he's so *civilised* in a white way. =P i think it's because i hung out with an azn yesterday and today, a non-azn. but then, i dont think it has anything to do with races. it's all got to do with personality. ross is such a socialable person, which is good because it makes the atmosphere a lot more comfortable and less awkward.

i enjoyed today's morning tea with ross because he actually tells me what his opinions are to things we talk about. well, i THINK he's giving me his honest opinion, i'll take them as true anyways~ and it's cool... i recon... =)

SHOUT OUT: HEY ROSS~ THANKS FOR MY MORNING TEA! WHOO! =D

and then i met up with wai ho to catch a train back together since he finished class at around the same time as i was going home.

SHOUT OUT: WAI HO! you made my train trip home less lonely... hahahaha

anyways la, enough for now... uni starts tomorrow and i dont like that... ><""
