The Night Before NYE... (and NYE)...

just as i wanna start, the door bell rings... hold up ppls...
~~
ok my boss and his family just came over for an hour... how nice of them... they got me a blue butterfly pin thing from cairns. man i feel so bad now if i screw up at work... ><"" but hey im still on holidays~!

so, how was christmas for everyone? i really enjoyed christmas this year, maybe it's because i didnt expect much to happen, and things happen when you least expect them to... hehe =)

one thing i've noticed with every christmas is that kids are forced to take pics with santa claus. for goodness' sakes, i recon parents with kids under the age of 5 years should all be banned from taking their kids to those santa photo stands. i really dont see the point in making a 3 year old freak out totally just because the parents wants a pic of santa claus. if they really want one, why dont they go and take one themselves? the kid is totally freaked, how would you feel if you were made to sit on a guy's lap and look happy? the guy is a total stranger who hasnt shaved for the past 15 years and he's friggin wearing a massive red coat, long trousers and boots right in the middle of summer. total pedophaelia i recon (however u spell that)...

what else? oh yes, i've finally realised what hampers are for... hahahaha after making 50 million of them at work, i've realised that hampers are actually encouraging people to use their money in other things, such as christmas presents. it's like *oh i see that you probably dont have enough money to spend on christmas presents so i'll buy you some food so u can spend those food money on presents for me*. there's a hint of goodness in hampers i guess because you are trying to help people feel like celebrating the festive season.

and oh yeh, i dont see why people dont sing the birthday song as christmas carols... i mean, it is the birth of Jesus, right? although it's been proved that His actual birthday was around april sometime, but hey, the wise men found him then, right? so basically we're having a late birthday party every year? so why arent we singing birthday songs to Him? thank God there're no birthday punches...

so basically that's a different aspect of christmas from me this year...
~
i was given a link to someone's blog today and man, it's getting addictive reading this chic's blog. i mean, she has the time to write so much basically every day? and man, she sounds soo much like a freak haha... and people actually comment on her thing soo often, like one time 24 people commented... no, there's no hint of jealousy in mentioning all this, it's just that people do have a net life... i wonder what she's like in real life... yeh?
~
hmm ok, now back to my life... hahaha...

i am starting to get really confused about what my parents want from me these days... they go off at my brother for staring at his computer all day, playing net games and holding forums etc. and they say to him like he's gonna lose all the communicating skills and he wont be able to have proper relationships with people etc because all he can do is communicate on the internet and not in real life. and then what do they do? they try to lock me up from going out and meeting my friends? they say they dont see a point in bumming with my friends, not even at their houses because it's useless? ok, u dont want my bro to stare at the computer screen all day, but u guys dont want me to see my friends either? im soo confused... ><"""
~
so yeh, summer school's going to start soon... wish me luck ><"" far out the whole world's in hong kong right now... i wish i was there with you guys!!

until next time...

Appreciate What You Have...

something i've learnt recently, which made me realise and understand more of the position i have in people's eyes... obviously, it may seem subjective but then there is never one side to the story and issues dont only involve one person...

i guess this lesson has taught me how to let go because obviously there is no point in being so attached to something you have no influence over. that would only be bringing more worries and pain. there is no point for me to hope for so much because that would be giving those around me pressure to fulfil that expectation. if the expectation is not satisfied, i would be just as disappointed. then why have the expectation in the first place. this doesnt mean not to have standards and goals but i recon we should just deal with ourselves and be strict on how we are as a person ourselves rather than care and worry about how others choose to behave and act.

~~

ok enough reflection, my new mobile is really cool and gosh i can stay up all night personalising it hahahaha

whoo!! flip phones!!

went shopping with mum yesterday at Towers and bought her a sandwich press... then bought my *mum* 2 jurlique products... got some free samples too beause of the amount i spent there... which wasnt a lot to be honest because i normally spend more than that on myself... hehe but hey MYER ONE POINTS!! FLY BUY POINTS!! dont we all just love shopping???

Hair Hair Hair...

hmm...

ok, im going to stress-less, not full damage my hair after i wash it and take supplements???

im not sure about the supplements bit because im kinda feeling it's got something to do with the fact that i have long hair? this didnt happen when i had short hair... and maybe it is because i used to colour my hair too often... my hair's still not totally black even though i havent coloured it for well over a year... the hairdresser said it's coz i used to colour too often... *sigh* the result of trendiness... hahaha...

so im gonna give these a try hehe...

nice!!

How Much Hair To Lose?

something came up today...

how much hair are supposed to lose each time we wash our hair? better still, how much hair are we supposed to lose in a day?

because each time i wash my hair these days, i'v been losing A LOT of hair... literally im like pully my hair out by the *jup*... in other words, like a whole bit... and everyday, i've been noticing as well, each time my hair kind of moves, a few strands fall out... and then when i wake up i see hair in my pillow...

am i sick? do i have too much salt in my diet? i know i havent been eating msg coz mum said she hasnt used anything artificial in our food... hmm...

can someone answer that question for me??

AM I SICK???

woah woah woah~~ 5 days!

wow it's been 5 days since my last post...

this is so gay... 2 parties are on on the SAME DAY... i so dont know how to decide which one to go to... *sigh*... one's a 21st and the other's a post-Christmas/pre-NYE party... maybe i can go to the 21st and then go to the other one??? hmmmm...

life feels a lot more fulfilling and meaningful when you're in touch with your spiritual side... which i have been trying to do for the past 2 days... hmm...

oh gosh... i really cant stand children who chuck tantrums right in the middle of a shopping centre... seriously, parents should give their children certain amounts of discipline because those kids are going to grow up with the wrong idea that they can chuck tantrums to get things to go their way... *sigh*...

im planning to turn anti-social this week... haha but if there's something on... i might think about it... far out i cant believe i still have a curfew during the holidays... but then... im sure there are somethings that i can *chuck-a-tantrum-about* (NOT) haha just to get it going my way... right?? =P
