Appreciate What You Have...

something i've learnt recently, which made me realise and understand more of the position i have in people's eyes... obviously, it may seem subjective but then there is never one side to the story and issues dont only involve one person...

i guess this lesson has taught me how to let go because obviously there is no point in being so attached to something you have no influence over. that would only be bringing more worries and pain. there is no point for me to hope for so much because that would be giving those around me pressure to fulfil that expectation. if the expectation is not satisfied, i would be just as disappointed. then why have the expectation in the first place. this doesnt mean not to have standards and goals but i recon we should just deal with ourselves and be strict on how we are as a person ourselves rather than care and worry about how others choose to behave and act.

~~

ok enough reflection, my new mobile is really cool and gosh i can stay up all night personalising it hahahaha

whoo!! flip phones!!

Appreciate things more, but also learn not to expect things in life - if that makes sense. I always seem to have the most fun when I'm not expecting anything from anyone; that way, there's nothing to be disappointed about.

& *hoorah* for flip phones :) I still don't know how to use my phone properly. All I use it for is texts and calls .. the other day I learnt how to access websites from it and I was so intrigued :O! Apparently I can also put mp3s on it .. I just don't know how.

I love this birthday tree thing - it's the only place where someone will label me as 'physically fit'.
