Today, Today, Today...

today was a half long day because it wasnt a full long day (so to say) yet a lot happened. well not a lot full on, but enough...

oh yeh, just got this from wai ho...

what a waste of coke (i agree with ken here) but then it's only diet coke. ken said the coke in the gold bottle is really eiw because it has no sugar or something. i prefer sugar in my coke. hehe~~

anyways! back to today...

woke up heaps early (9 something) to practice the piano one last time because my exam, which was supposed to be at 220PM but the examiner had asked if i wanted to do mine earlier so i just followed her in at 2PM.

caught the bus from castle hill to wynyard station. had some food at this cafe but seriously, for $7.90, the grilled vegetables sandwich looked like some $0.50 toast from a school fete. it was THAT bad. no side chips, no side salad. i was so disappointed. i had even told the waitress that i was disappointed and i didnt think the sandwich was worth $7.90 and she said every other restraunt is heaps more expensive. but my defence was that say for $11.50, i get a larger sandwich AND side dishes of either chips, wedges or garden salad. i was really unimpressed. but oh well, i couldnt start up anything because i had to keep myself composed for the exam.

we went past a red cross donation building thing, and next to it was a shop, kind of like the odd op-shop but nicer and brighter. the things were actually real branded items and they were donated to the red cross. how nice of people. =)

so mum and i were looking at the skirts on the rack and MAN WE SAW THE BEST BUY EVER! a skirt with belt for $15. i so recon if the skirt was at MYER or DJ, it would have been $50-$60 up. my bro didnt see anything in particular but we still bought him a vest. haha, cant let go of such an opportunity! and i saw a really cute vest for $10. seriously, no one can resist such a shop!

but one thing that scared me was the real rabbit skin/fur jacket they had there on sale at $130. i thought it was mink! seriously, i was so brain frozen when the lady was like *that's really nice for real rabbit fur*. mum, my bro and i just left (we've paid already).

then we went to the AMEB studio and basically sat there. well, i sat there in fear, while my mum and bro were just bored crapless. blahblah blah, long story short, went in, had an exam, came out. i got a grade that was heaps better to what i thought i was getting in the morning but not as good as what i expected myself to get. so it was all good.

we caught the bus back to castle hill and we all had afternoon tea at castle tower. i had a really nice, banana, caramel and cream pie and a mug of hot chocolate. mum had a muffin and coffee. my bro had this really nice but kinda gay carbonated apple juice/drink. haha~ i so can't get buy without a slice of cake or something these days. the cream was so nice! and the chic gave me whipped cream and ice cream on the side! now that's what i call service and for just under $5, it was worth it. unlike *some* un-mention-able *cough* grilled vegetable sandwich *cough* at wynyard station *nudge nudge wink wink*

we had hot pot for dinner tonight as well~ really yummy and warmed me up for a winter's day like today. =)
